Practical advice and support – when you’re thinking about starting a business and before you actually begin.
Since 1983 we’ve helped thousands of budding entrepreneurs to decide whether or not starting a business is right for them.
If they’ve decided it is, we’ve then helped them to understand the issues and steps necessary to get started.
It’s a tried and tested two-step process.
The first workshop, which runs every fortnight, is completely free of charge and with absolutely no obligation to return if you decide business isn’t right for you.
The workshop is relaxed, non-threatening and non-judgemental – you don’t even have to say anything if you don’t want to! There’s no jargon and no pressure, just the opportunity to learn about what it might be like to start a business or become self-employed, to help you decide if it’s the right thing for you to do.
It’s also a chance to meet like-minded people.
The second step, if you’ve decided it might be right for you, is to attend our workshop
Typically, people attending this course are getting ready to start their business or become self-employed within the next four months. This is a one-day seminar which covers the basics of getting prepared. We cover finance, legal issues, sales and marketing, business planning and give you a range of useful tips and advice about where to get specialist information.
The cost for this workshop is £42.00 (£35.00 + VAT)
