The new topical areas have been developed in response to a survey BRAVE conducted of small business owners. The aim was to establish what skills and personal development they felt they required to be able to successfully develop their businesses in the current economic climate. SME respondents indicated they wanted to access key themes of self-development to assist them in running their businesses. These were given in the following order of importance; Marketing (selling and negotiation), networking, mentoring, finance and internet trading and personal presentation skills.
